Appointed Coffee

The shop is located in the commercial area west of Uijeongbu Station. The blue blinds and tables blend well with the white walls and coffee cups. The owner, who is the sole proprietor, is very kind. The shop has been open for about two and a half years, and I heard that while there weren't many drip coffee shops in Uijeongbu previously, they're becoming more common recently. There were several types of filter coffee, and I ordered the Panama Elida Geisha Anaerobic Fermentation beans. Anaerobic fermentation is also known as ASD (Anaerobic Slow Dry), a method where oxygen is blocked for 6 days, carbon dioxide is sealed in, and then it's slowly dried for 30 days. The Geisha cup notes are listed as jasmine, blackberry, plum, and rum. While a flamboyant flavor is the general consensus, today's taste had excellent balance. The aroma, neither heavy nor light, seemed to be submerged in the coffee before bursting in my mouth. It's a delicious coffee. The reason filter coffee is called 'hand drip' is because its taste is significantly influenced by the barista who brews it. In that sense, even with the same beans, each coffee is unique. I thoroughly enjoyed this Uijeongbu-style Geisha coffee, made by an owner who has been in Uijeongbu for a long time. Appointed Coffee in Uijeongbu-dong, Uijeongbu-si, is a clean and comfortable place with delicious hand-drip coffee.
