The shop is located right in front of Oncheonjang Station. From the front, it looks very small. But when you enter through the narrow door on the left, a different scene unfolds. I'm told it used to be just the small size that's initially visible. It expanded by taking over the restaurant behind it, becoming the spacious shop it is now, complete with a garden. The interior is large, and the tables are generously spaced, so there's no feeling of stuffiness. Thick bamboo is planted at the entrance, and it's pleasant to look at, as it doesn't lose its green color even in winter. There's also a second floor. The building and landscaping blend various styles, making it somewhat ambiguous to call it purely Korean. Perhaps it's as diverse as coffee origins? Several baristas are busy in the kitchen. Customers come and go without pause, and the shop is full of vitality. At first glance, it shares some similarities with Gangneung's Terarosa, but it's not the same. I wonder what direction Momos is aiming for—to become Busan's Terarosa? Or Seoul's Fritz? Or Libre? I'm curious. What this coffee shop, known for barista Jeon Joo-yeon, will become will be a significant benchmark for understanding how Busan's coffee and Korea's specialty coffee shops are evolving. I ordered a Colombia La Astrea Natural. The coffee has a unique aroma and a good body, but it's not overly heavy. It pairs well with the shop's atmosphere. The barista mentioned it's a bean that tends to elicit strong opinions. It's well-suited for a morning drink. The Oncheoncheon stream flows next to the shop, a pleasant path for walking or cycling. I'll take a deep breath, savoring the coffee aroma, and head towards Oncheoncheon.
