Roastery Mano

The shop is close to Jeonjucheon in Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si. It's a single-story yellow standalone building, with the kitchen/order area and the retail area separated by a wall. There are plenty of tables, and the walls and ceiling are a clean ivory color. In the order area, there's a not-so-large roasting machine. There are two baristas, and semi-classical music plays softly. The shop's name, 'Mano,' is said to mean 'hand.' This is primarily a roasting shop, and the owner has reportedly been roasting for over 10 years. They offer a variety of bean types, and I particularly recommend them as a shop that roasts 'Santiago,' a small-batch, multi-variety offering. For my coffee, I ordered an iced Colombia San Sebastian Cauca, which they described as having a nutty flavor. This type of bean, they say, offers a calming taste. Various stories flow around me, and this shop serves as a space that holds these stories. Roastery Mano, a stylish coffee shop in Jeonju, with its coffee cups, ivory walls, and large windows, is truly a space for stories.
