The shop is located a little north of Imunan Lake in Gyomun-dong. It's a neighborhood roastery coffee shop on the first floor of a small building facing the road. The interior isn't particularly pretty, nor does it have cute, charming props. The green kitchen curtain, wooden tables, and floor are rather unrefined, much like the shop's name, CRT, which refers to an old TV screen.
The owners are a young couple. Both the shop and the couple have a calm demeanor, much like the Gyomun-dong neighborhood itself. As a roastery, they also supply and sell beans, and I hear they run a coffee school.
I ordered a pour-over made with Kenyan beans. The beans are light, without strong acidity, nuttiness, or aroma. Although it's a west-facing shop, there's greenery in front, so it's pleasant to watch the shadows of the leaves sway inside in the afternoon sun.
If you come to Gyomun-dong, 'CRT' is a coffee shop where you can experience an analog sensibility, just like this neighborhood.
