Everyday Coffee

The shop is located on the commercial street between Sagajeong Station on Line 7 and Noksaek Hospital. At the entrance, there's a wooden deck and tables, and inside, a small roastery machine is visible against the wall. The shop's color scheme is a tripartite blend of orange, white, and peppermint blue. Initially, it was just white, but two more colors were apparently added later. The shop has been open for about three years. Back then, there weren't many coffee shops in the alley, but several more have appeared since. The owner takes considerable pride in the quality of their beans. There are about five types of beans for hand-drip, and I ordered the Honduras Geisha. The black coffee in the drip server harmonizes beautifully with the orange wall. The coffee's flavor carries a gentle jasmine aroma. Roses bloomed in the hair of the woman in the painting on the orange wall, and it feels as if their fragrance is emanating from my cup. Jungnang-gu is a quiet district in the northeastern part of Seoul, nestled between Achasan, Yongmasan, and Jungnangcheon. Stepping out of the shop and looking east, Yongmasan stands tall. Gazing at the low-lying streets stretching out below the mountain, one might even feel as if they've arrived in a provincial town—a unique facet of Seoul. 'Everyday Coffee' is where one can enjoy hand-drip coffee in Myeonmok-dong.
