Huinnyeoul Village Cafe

The shop is located at the entrance to a alley in Huinnyeoul Village, on the 4th floor of the Huinnyeoul Village Tourist Information Center building. It's clearly a building with a great view. As I ascended the narrow stairs, a scent of coffee wafted at the 4th floor. Through the wide window on the left, the sea, bathed in the afternoon sun, stretched out abundantly. In the kitchen directly ahead, a woman sat reading a book. She was a resident barista. I was told that residents take turns working here. I ordered the signature coffee. I was also told that the shop is small and struggling a bit due to the proliferation of many other coffee shops nearby. Next to the village cafe, I spotted a dessert cafe with a splendid interior. Inside the shop, one person sat gazing at the sea. The signature coffee had three layers, with the bottom layer's emerald color resembling the sea. It was more vibrant and beautiful than in pictures. When I complimented it, I was told that the residents put a lot of effort into making it well. I sincerely hope that this village cafe, run by residents, prospers. We seek out places like this not just for their natural beauty, but also to experience the lives of the residents who live in harmony there. If Huinnyeoul Village hadn't had its alleys, could it have been called Korea's Santorini and become popular? Following the alley, another resident-run shop appeared: Huinnyeoul Jeombbang.
