The shop's name is Daily Routine. If you come out of Sookmyung Women's University Station Exit 6 and walk into the alley towards the US military base, you'll see the Namyeong Arcade, which looks like a dark cave. It's inside there.
After walking quite a way into the arcade, you'll spot a coffee shop that resembles an old 'Saemaul' store. The shop is so small that the owner is close to the customers. You might wonder if there's a roaster, but it's tucked away in a corner. Roasting probably happens early in the morning or late at night.
At first glance, everything might look worn out, but if you look closely, you'll see that nothing—from the roasting machine, tables, chairs, interior, to small props—has been chosen carelessly. It's clear that the owner has considerable discernment and interest in the space and atmosphere.
The long-haired owner is taciturn and dedicated to his work.
The shop has a retro sensibility, but it has a unique Yongsan feel that's different from the trendy shops in Mangwon, Yeonhui, or Seongsu-dong.
Of course, the coffee taste is also excellent.
Daily Routine
Wake up - Go to work - Work - Leave work - Rest - Sleep. This is a coffee shop that can offer a brief respite in the routine of daily life.
