Tea Birds Cafe

The cafe is located on the first floor of an alleyway road, a short walk down Hanam City Hall Station from Exit 3 of Hanam City Hall Station on Line 5. It's about 7-8 pyeong (approx. 250-280 sq ft) in size, with several tables of varying sizes. The interior boasts a simple, wood-toned ambiance, and a young male barista works there with a friendly demeanor. Tea Birds is one of a chain, this being its second branch, with many others reportedly in areas like Osan and Pyeongtaek. However, I was told that this particular shop feels very much like an independent coffee shop. Having operated in this spot for 12 years, it seems to be a familiar fixture for the locals. I was informed that they don't currently offer drip coffee, so I ordered a coffee latte. The latte was smooth and savory, with a slightly heavy finish. With two sides of the shop featuring large windows, the street view outside offers a refreshing sight. It was introduced as an affordable coffee shop that one can easily drop by anytime when in the vicinity. With the opening of Hanam City Hall Station and Hanam Geomdansan Station on Line 5 in March 2021, accessibility has greatly improved. This Tea Birds cafe has been confirmed as a convenient spot to visit when exploring Hanam City's downtown area.
